More clients. Auto-scheduled jobs. SMS dispatch handled so you can do the actual errands.
I'm a solo founder who built ErrandOS after watching the people closest to me run real errand businesses out of their phones — texting clients back at 9pm, hand-typing the same dispatch messages every morning, rebuilding the schedule on a Sunday night. Those operators weren't struggling because the work was hard. They were struggling because the office around the work was eating them alive.
ErrandOS exists to take that office off their plate. I built it with a small group of founding operators in Austin, Houston, and Dallas, and it gets better every week because they're the ones shaping what it does.
A solo errand operator is the intake desk, the dispatcher, the scheduler, and the follow-up crew — usually on the same phone, usually between errands. Requests come in across text, voicemail, and a web form. Each one needs to be read, parsed, routed to a runner, slotted into a schedule, and confirmed back to the customer. Most operators we talked to were burning four or more hours a day on that coordination before a single errand actually ran.
We don't try to replace the operator — we replace the back-office noise. AI takes the inbound request, pulls out the type, location, urgency, and contact details, and dispatches it to a runner by SMS. Recurring schedules regenerate themselves. You set the rules once; the system handles it from there.
You keep the parts of the business that should stay close to you. We handle the parts that have always been coordination overhead.
